  • According to some experts pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers are advised to stay away from eating cinnamon as excess intake may leads to some issues.
  • If you are going for any surgery, avoid cinnamon as much as possible. According to health experts it affects the glucose levels and increases the blood pressure. So at least stop consuming before two weeks of surgery.
  • Cinnamon contains cinnamaldehyde compound which has allergic properties. This particular compound if consumed overly can result in mouth sores.

  • Soak a cinnamon in a glass of hot boiled water for 30 minutes.
  • After the water gets cooled add honey to it.
  • Drink half of the water on empty stomach before going to bed.
  • Take the remaining water again on empty stomach after you wake up.
